By offering a wider range of opportunities to learn and different methods of learning, we aim to
ensure students are able to continue to develop their Welsh language skills, have the confidence to
use the language and consider themselves as Welsh speakers (this is discussed further in the
section on ‘The education workforce, resources and qualifications’ on pages 43–45.)
Our aim: develop post-compulsory education provision
which increases rates of progression and supports everyone,
whatever their command of the language, to develop Welsh
language skills for use socially and in the workplace.
